Fiona qualified at what is now Northumbria University, with a degree in Law with business before attending the College of Law, Lancaster Gate, London. She has been with Mortons for 27 years and has gathered a broad range of experience in all areas.
As Managing Partner, Fiona is adaptable and results driven with excellent management and IT skills; she thrives on problem solving, variation of work and a busy environment. Although she has experience in a wide range of legal work, more recently Fiona has concentrated on commercial property transactions, residential developments, purchase and selling of businesses and general business advice.
Fiona’s very approachable demeanour has allowed her to successfully build up a substantial private client practice, in which she advises on matters ranging form Estate Planning through Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters and general affairs of the more mature client.
In addition, her keen mind and ability to interpret and effectively apply complex information has been rewarded with instructions from a number of prominent local businesses as well as local and national charities.
